When using the bombsight on the full complexity setting, after searching for and locking on the target with shift+K, the sight does not seem to enter Drift tracking mode. Moving the joystick left/right does nothing. Moving it up/down affects the Rate tracking. Pressing key N to switch back and forth between Drift and Rate tracking doesn't make any difference. I have tried entering the initial drift from the navigator manually and letting it happen automatically. As a result, I'm having trouble hitting targets because of the drift.

I'm using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro that works fine in all other aspects of the game. Based on other topics in this forum, I tried deleting the b17.opt file and rebinding the controls, but that didn't help.

Second question, what's the difference between the Full Complexity and Simplified options for the Norden (Bombsight) Complexity setting. I've tried both settings and do not see any difference. I don't see anything in the manual about it, nor have I found anything online.

Any help provided will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Manual is wrong here. You need keep B or N key pressed and move stick left right. You know you are in drift mode when stick up/down do nothing and only left right works. I think B and N is for normal and fine correction. I forgot exactly, just try. You can check drift set on dial bellow gunsight body. I think space key will bring you there.

Thank you. That made all the difference.
