I was overjoyed by the adding of mouse control in the game, and just realized i still need a joystick for the bombrun.

I REALLY wish it is possible to add Mouse support for the target aim upon locking on the aimspot. From there its all keyboard.

What are the chances for this to happen i wonder?
Yeah, noticed this too. Stoked that I could control the guns with the mouse, only to get slapped back 20 years with the bombsight/joystick stuff again.
I would think it would require a large amount of recoding to allow using the mouse for the Bombsight adjustments. I am constantly making small adjustments with the timing and the drift using the joystick and holding down the N key.

In order to accomplish this without the joystick and mouse only might be a bit tricky because you would have to have some input back to the player how much the mouse is being positioned. Then when you switch to drift correction you would have to recenter the mouse position again and the player would have to guess as to the amount of movement the mouse is creating. It's doable but I really doubt they will ever spend the time implementing it on a redux project.

Do you have an Xbox controller for your PC? If so you can go to the control menu and set the axis for Pitch and Roll using the joystick on the controller and that will make the bomb sight work in manual.
'They could of easily added the very controller friendly setup that several games use like "Nuclear Option" and "Helicopter Gunship DEX", which would of not required new coding. Many games now use that setup seen in those two games.

This is 2024. The game is billed as a "Redux" so working on modern PCs and having modern control options is actually more important than the remaster of textures as a base. This release is a total soup sandwhich and the fact that its been released with a vague claim that they will do %75 of the games features later is also not a good sign. Given how steam has totally catered to early access scams and how they have taken over that platform with no enforcement, more people than not are totally weary about investing in anything that is "EA" regardless pf what platform its sold on.

I for one have been ripped off too many times to gamble on more titles. I will continue to see and hope this game gets finished but the plus side is we have the 2 original games to enjoy while this is being done and if it fails we will still have those to fall back on. So with that, I am in no hurry to buy into it.
