I was wondering when the 1.01 version of avadon 2 will be available on gog.com?
The 1.01 version is already 4 days old at the spiderweb-site.

I emailed support about this and they said that Jeff is working on the update for GOG and they should hopefully have it here after the weekend. Fingers crossed :)

Now is available the v. 1.0.1 !

The upcoming update was mentioned (news section) in Spiderweb Software´s official web in November 18: "....will be updated the versions of Steam, GOG, etc etc". Seven days later is available, as promised.

Bought it two days ago and I had just seen the update in GOG it right now (been waiting patienly for it to start it as it was announced by Spiderweb Software) .

Avadon: The Black Fortress was one of my two favourites RPG from 2011 - same year in which epic The Witcher 2 Assassin of Kings was released, btw- and despite that it was -unfortunately but better late than never- my first Spiderweb Software game played, I got amazed by its quality after trying the demo.


I became a GOG customer, in fact, because of the jewels available in RPG. HOLY digital distribution !! It makes possible to enjoy games like Avadon in some european countries were we never will be able to buy then.

So happy to see after 2007 how CD Projekt and Spiderweb Software -alonside other developers in the genre- has keep alive the spirit for goog old RPG videogames so well and healthy.
