Well my question is, should I play avadon 2 without playing avadon 1, do I miss a lot of the story?
I play Avernum series and I really like it but this series(avadon) looks a little bit different yet the combat is the same (Really like the combat)
I know the game is very long so playing 1 and then realizing that 2 is pretty much the same will be a total letdown, that is why I'm asking this.

Avadon 1 kind of gives you the idea and tells you the story about what the pact does and what you think is your own idea. Avadon 2 is all about battle and transgression with enemies. Likely Avadon 2 will be better and thats because they gave you the tinkermage. I didn't hate the blade master or shadowalker but the tinkermage makes melee much easier to work and also is the most powerful class in the game.

The forums already dictated Tinkermage can solo on normal without much trouble. Its like Shamans that can fight in melee and summon-Awesome!
