Hi all.

The game starts but the sound stutters badly. I've had this problem before and it has to do with the resolution. The game runs in 640x480 which my computer doesn't have and causes problems. Normally I can change the resolution in game or in the config file but there is no option for either.

Here is my system information. 640x480 and Windows 8.1 don't play nice together.

Have you tried setting the compatibility mode for the game to "Windows Xp"?

Right click on the game exe, select "Properties" then choose the "Compatibility" tab: there you can find the compatibility modes.

That is the first thing I thought of. The windows version and disable display scaling are checked and grayed out.

Any other ideas?

Are you unable to change the compatibility mode for the game? I am on Linux, but this not seems to me a normal behavior. Try changing the compatibility settings in some other way.
