There used to be soundtracks for Atlantis 1 & 2. I know because I downloaded them. Anybody know why they are no longer available?

I'm curious to know as well. I finally got around to sorting those I downloaded a while back and realised by the track numbering some seemed to be missing so was checking if they had uploaded an update, didn't expect none at all.

The first two soundtracks were composed by Pierre Esteve...maybe there's some issue with licenses? Luckily, I downloaded them a long time ago. I hope they come back though because from what I've heard they're pretty good. Atlantis III's soundtrack is still there, but that was composed by David Rhodes. (Trivia: Rhodes is one of the main guitar players for Peter Gabriel.)

GOG.com Support answered me: Unfortunately we had to remove the soundtracks due to legal issues.

Sad :'-(

That's a shame. This has prompted me to backup all my GOG.com games and extras to disc just in case something (like the Atlantis soundtracks) disappears and it accidently gets deleted on my hard drive.

This is disappointing - I was going to pick these games up in the current sale, but now I'm probably going to give them a pass... :(

If you're that fussed about the soundtracks for Atlantis 1 & 2 they are available to buy from Amazon. iTunes only seems to have the Atlantis 1 soundtrack though.

Both soundtracks are available on Deezer and similar services (probably even Spotify).

If you ask nicely, they will have Pierre sign it for you too :)

If someone can upload his GOG (now permanently deleted) soundtrack for Atlantis 1 & 2 to Google Drive or whatever and drop me a link, I will be grateful. Thanks.
