I bought the game yesterday here on GOG.
The most actual version was astrox imperium beta v0.0033 64 bit (28402).exe
And still is, yet there are changelogs for 0.0035 already.

I feel a bit neglected here *wink* Steamusers probably have the newest version already.
I am not usually this impatient.
Does GOG not update automatically?
If that is correct, how long does it usually take for the GOG version to catch up with the Steam version?
Just so we can have a rough estimate.
You should have the most recent version as Momo only makes one version of the game and uploads it to steam and GOG at the same time. I am new to GOG so I can't tell you how to force an update, but my nversion here has been updating automatically within a half hour of Momo posting the changelog.
Yes, i know i _should_ :*)

But i do not.
And i certainly cannot be the only one.
That would be creepy.

I will test someting else, i have a terrible suspicion
*waddles off, humming The Galaxy Song*
*sighs*
I knew it!

It is that damn Galaxy-Client.
_THERE_ all is fine, the newst version is v0.0035.

Might aswell have bought the game on icky steam then,
if i am forced to use a client to play (sorry... install) games.
Which kinda nullifies the whole No DRM aspect.

Is no one using the normal GOG system anymore?

Edit: Okay, i have taken my medicine now *grins* All is calm and happy meadows.

Even better: You dev-leopards fixed the "mousescroll-works-through-opened-panels" bug.
That was annoying, often i ended up so close to my ship that it got _really_ loud when mining,
Or i unexpectedly sat in my cockpit after undocking.

GOG packaging team is a standard 9-5 job (Polish timezone, off for national holidays, etc.). Old workflow would have been the devs upload a new build. GOG packaging team briefly tests new build, if OK then pushes new offline installers all during standard work hours. Delay for the offline installers presumably wasn't more then a few days.
Current new workflow, if used by the devs, is to push the updated build directly via new backend. Files are available to GOG & Galaxy users at the same time. GOG packaging team still briefly tests new build (I think), if OK then pushes new offline installers all during standard work hours. Delay for the offline installers presumably is the same.
Given that GOG sees the new build at the same time as Galaxy users exactly what distortion of time & space should GOG be using to update the offline installers at the same time? Not to mention it was the weekend.
