Opened the character window ingame, and saw some arrows next to my pilots face. Decided to click them, and suddenly my character became a man. Cycling through the faces it seems to only ever show male ones.
Not gamebreaking but might be worth checking :)

Yup, i got caught there aswell.

Until being fixed, this helps and is actually faster and easier:
1. Look at Astrox Imperium_Data\MOD\scripting\npcs\faces
2. Memorize Number of Head
3. Go to Astrox Imperium_Data\MOD\saves\YOURNAME\
4. Open player_data.txt
5. Change the lines
PLAYER;face_1;female_4.png
PLAYER;face_2;accessory_22.png
to your liking.
