I've been playing this game on/off for a while, and just came back to it after 6 months or so. The only thing that's really annoying me atm, is that the game really likes to auto-target asteroids, regardless of my wishes. (Auto-target option is NOT selected).

Is there any way to disable this?

What you talk about is not auto target, but the result of passive scanner. If you have minerals turned on in your passive scanner filter, they will continue to pops up in your passive target lust.


Find the passive scanner options in one of the several buttons under the active scanner panel
