Some Suggestions/Problems 0.090a:
Installed 0.090a, started a new campain and after the ore mission no administrative personnel were displayed (see picture).

I think the names of the warp gates should not be displayed before they are scanned. That makes it too easy and spoils all the fun of searching and exploring.

And I found the slider for the mod tools.

okay, im on it :)
For one more anecdata, personally, advanced space faring civilisation needs every single person to scan out gates to other systems? They can't share very, very basic data, yet can FTL travel? Doesn't make any sense.

I've lost interest in the early stages of the game, but one of the issues was being given a mission then trying to warp around the various systems just finding the destination system, all while the life support is bouncing back and forth depending on the system you're in. Not a fun mechanic to me.

I didn't find any sense of exploration by scanning out the gate names.

Edit: I could see if being OK with something like EVE's null sec and a high sec core of systems which are all mapped out. The null ones could be interesting for exploration/hostile environment scanning.

i have addressed this more in build 91. searchable galaxy map, warp gate listings on the mouseover, along with bookmarks too.

Re this update .. Will it also address the issue of being unable to read the mapo when you hover over a system.
(the box content blocks out whats behind including scanned system gates)

Perhaps the information could be toggled off and on so you can read the systems jump gates when hovering over the map, but not the system data and vusa versa depending on your needs.
On the mouseover at the galaxy map should only be shown what is already scanned or explored.

Good stuff, really impressive work from one person on the whole, keep doing what you're doing. I just think it might've been EA'ed too early at this stage, but then again, feedback is vital too.

I scan all stations / jump gate when I enter a system so it shows them all..

Which nessesitars a Large is window.. hence my question about toggel off and on.. so I can see the data I need at the time.

I fully agree, first scan then display.

NO.. Without EA we couldn't play this great game.. Besides I hope the forums suggestions are helping the game to get to its peak.

Plow on.. I love playing... even with EA. AND cant wait to see your next update .. and enjoy it even more.!

Personally, I'm happy with the EA when it was. You are a highly responsive dev and are making clear progress towards a better game.

EA is only too early if the game is basically unplayable or the dev iterates slowly (small/medium updates every 2-5 months, low/no forum contact) which you are neither of.
I think there should be a reward for destructed raiders (red dot), maybe a small positive rating at the sector faction.
I also saw again that the police (blue dot) hunt and destroy normal ships (white dot).

Thats sounds interesting.. Perhaps.. it could also generate more "kill raider" missions for that sector.. since you were so effective...

Or maybe higher level missons.. or a "kill the boss raider" mission.. which leaves the sector free from pirate for a period of time..
