Hello,
After around 30h of play, here's what i found really annoying or bugged
The game is pretty stable and i did not experienced any crash.
- Auto pilot glitches : sometimes the auto-pilot goes really really weird doing loops in all directions before finally (almost always) going back to normal route to waypoint.
- Targeting : as i saw in another post, the targeting window is too sensitive, better had a drop down menu with right click to select the action to do on the target, instead of selecting it as a waypoint with clicking left on it (use double click to do that will be better)
- Zoom out on a system : zooming out leads to the "galaxy" map, it's a real pain when searching for a gate or station (when your life support is near zero). Display of the whole map should be separated of the 'in system' zoom
- Setting a bookmark : when filling the name or description, when hitting keys also defined as commands, they react as commands in the same time.
- Ships are really ugly : ok i can live with it :)
- Tactical scanner (on top border of screen) : I cannot figure how it works, as selecting things or not, seems having no effect at all.
- Joystick/joypad unwanted effects : having some joysticks pluged make the view keeps rotating around the ship, disconnect it solves the problem, but well, it's a bug :)
Other Improvements wish list :
- Full screen windowed mode : I got two video monitors, and clicking on a window outside the game screen make it going to task bar. it will be good to have real windowed game screen not responding to commands sent to other running tasks (i mean on the second monitor).
- Separates statics targets and dynamics ones : I mean, when entering a system, there should be a target window for system's structures (gates, stations) once they are already discovered and scanned once, but dynamics target like asteroids or ships should appear on another windows and count as real targets (according to the targeting skill and vessel capabilities)
- keep crates and other junk alive for some duration, with the life support constraint the time we could spend on some systems is really limited, doing travels back and forth for salvaging is a solution, but things to loot disapear a bit fast, some more time to loot will be great.
keeps the good work !
