You mentioned that on the map screen you are considering adding a way for players to search for systems, and thus on that same train of thought, also be able to search for stations or other things. That sounds like a good way to save time and I look forward to that.

Along those same lines of adding more information for the player to be aware of, Is there any possibility to let the player add a personal note via the map window for a sector? I'd like to add my own comments about what ore can be found there, if there is an available market / university / garage / etc. or not, if there is a ship I would like to go back and check out, and other useful information.
