Example: I have a Generic, warp but can warp anywhere on the map if I have enough fuel.

Perhaps you could level the warp like other items.

Warp geric = 2 systes
Warp Level 2 = 4 systems
Warp level 3 = 6 systems

With vearing increasing costs...
. And perhaps a skill for its use ( which also could % reduce time between warps.)

Thus... yes you can go anywhere (evemtualy) BUT at a cost of both learning and purchaseing..


Perhaps this may be something;;; Or it may unbalance what you plan for the future..

Thanks for the consideration..

It could also allow for : ( if you thought it was a good)

Things like:

Lvl 1 generic warp drive
lvl 2 Normal warp drive
lvl 3 Advances warp drive

plus the skill research and related blue prints. ( as well as the nessasary materials to make.)

Perhaps another use for the Electron Ord ( ie its esential for making warp drives)
