It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

1.) After setting a bookmark in a zone, it is not readable from the Map screen. I can only know that a sector has a bookmark via the toggle in the top toolbar. In addition, while in the sector, the bookmark cannot be cleared or removed in the tactical view, it seems to ignore the 'Clear' command on the pop up window. But, it can be cleared in the normal view.

2.) I use high quality earphones and when Astrox starts, there appears a soft, static buzzing sound. I usually fade it out when I continue a saved game because of the ambient music. This last time I turned off the ambient music to see if it appears with other things that create sound, such as Youtube, online TV shows, etc. The soft static sound appears only when Astrox is running, and it stops when the Map screen is open, then reappears when going back to the sector screen.

Thank you for checking these out.
After doing more testing, it seems that the sound issue is likely due to the D3D sound and my on-board sound card. I have turned up the volume and have head the same static with other 3D games, so it is likely not an Astrox issue. It is annoying to have that static humming directly in my ear.

In the game, I tried lowering all sounds to zero but that didn't stop the static. Only going to the Map screen stops the hum. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know. Thanks.

Do you know how to remove a bookmark? Have a thread on this. Momo tried to help point me in the right direction but I'm still confused.
