As much as i'd love to see it, I don't think Ubisoft will let it off their uPlay DRM.

There is already GOTY edition at least for XBOX360 that includes every DLC ever released for it. So in theory, I don't see any problem with releasing it without DRM.
However I think their PC line got inspired by Steam's early stage and pushes their client hard. Thus I think a release isn't realistic but I keep my fingers crossed. It would be day 1 purchase.

As much as I would love that... doubtful.

There is very slight chance that we will get AC2 here some day, but it's too far in the future to care really.

I just noticed this morning that Assassin's Creed is tagged with a 'Last Chance' now.

From Googling I think that it verifies my suspicion that AC will be going away from GOG, which is sad as uplay/origin are utter shit in that they'd rather give us a hard time by crappily re-inventing the wheel and not using steam if they INSIST on DRM, abd with ubisoft it was some really nasty sh!t.

The announcement for today suggests that it is the last time it is being offered at 75% discount for this sale. We are getting closer to the end of the sale, so this makes sense as opposed to it being pulled from GOG altogether. Where did you see that removal may be happening?

No it doesn't. The sale items have been recycled endlessly over the sale period and NONE of the others have that tag.

Yeah, I noticed this today when they tag the individual games as 'last chance' as well...

GOG REALLY needs to get a new tag to differentiate between the two meanings...
