Hi
I'm unable to run the game as it crashes my display adapter driver so badly i have to reboot after every time i try. I get to see the zoom in on some characters back side and after that just garbled up vector graphics with flickering textures and boom! there goes my driver again.
Driver is up to date.
Is there a way i could switch on/off some graphical options before i run the game?

Did you try to go into the .cfg? It's a configuration filetype, if you open it with a wordpad, you get the option of resetting basic configuration types. Let's say fullscreen=1 means fscreen enabled and =0 means disabled. You can do the same with certain other parameters. Just remember to backup (copy/paste somewhere else) the file before you tinker with it.
Also if you using nVidia graphic card like GeForce from driver series Forceware 93.17 - you could open up nVidia Panel (right-click on desktop) -> 3D Settings -> Use advanced 3D settings (take me to) -> TURN ON Application Extensions (or TURN OFF if they are TURNED ON). Its mainly use with older apllications (Arx Fatalis is such one), turning it on could help with crashing and graphic issues.

Dunno will it work with newer GeForce cards, haven't met them, also unknown to me how their control panels looks and works.

But it is worth a try.
If i remeber correctly, the game tended to freeze for me too during the opening cutscene, but you could prevent it by skipping the cutscene.
@Czudowny:
Forceware 90 series is an ancient driver, i doubt anyone running win7 has these options in the same place anymore.
