1. Some kind of container
-----------------------------------

I have completed Arx 3 times and only one point in still driving me crazy which many have been through during the Crypt level.

At the very last room (when litch attacks you on exit) there is a small glowing object flashing over the wall that states .."Some Kind of Container"
I have googled and even refereed RPGdot guide which mentions to bring some glowing object to open it.
But what exactly should I combine to open the container? I have tried golem heart and even krahoz and zohark
nothing opens the container!!!

2. Walking Issues
-------------------------

The problem is actually not with walking but the WAY Am Shaegar walks in-game. The screen constantly feels like having hiccups while walking through out the game. Its difficult to explain but the feeling is similar, for example playing a game requiring higher specs
with low-end system. So, the game constantly hiccups though manageable. The same sort of feeling is associated with Arx Fatalis while walking in game. I am obviously having a fast 3.2 Ghz 4GB RAM system to run this game.
Is there any way to stop this stuttering in walking??

3. Wierd Action Scenes
-------------------------------

Another difficulty is with the scenes where I use my sword or axe to kill rats or spiders ONLY. The moment I raise my sword or axe and kill them there is a 3-4 sec shut down (screen pauses) and warped a few spaces backward (like pushed back to a distance).
It happens only with the killing animation of rats, spiders or chickens NOT with the human or enemy or NPC

4. Miscellaneous Issues
----------------------------------

1. The terribly long loading times from level-to-level. Despite a good system the loading times take over 10-15 seconds every time I change level.
2. How to get the Beer? (not from the lady but the drum placed to the side which says 10 gold coins for Beer - Tizzy!..)

I request some help to solve these issues which would be helpful for future players too.

Thanks

The container opens an alternate passage when you use a special item from the crypts on it. It's just a shortcut and doesn't lead to anything you can't otherwise access. The RPGdot guide has maps on pages 52 and 53 that show the precise location of the item to use on it. I never bothered with this myself but presumably the directions are correct.

You should try the improved builds (Arx Fatalis fixed and Arx Libertatis to see if one of them fixes it.

The aforementioned builds may improve loading times, but otherwise you're mostly stuck with it.

Double click on an empty bottle, then click on the barrel's tap to fill it. The money is paid automatically. You can also fill bottles from other interactive liquid sources (e.g. basins of water) to get other sorts of liquids.
Thanks Arkose! It helped me a lot.

I will get back for any further issues, if any!

Great Classic game unfortunately with no future development of a sequel :-(
