I wanted to know if other langages versions will be available for Arx Fatalis ?
It was also released in french, german, italian, spanish and russian.

You're right. The Steam version have all these language options : it would me great to know if the GOG one have the same possibilities. I'll never buy this game if it's only english version, but I'll buy it with no doubt if french (for me) is included. Anyone how have already bought this game could anwser ? Do we have the language choice in the GOG version ?

Unfortunately the GOG version still only has the English language files.

Actually, you can buy the Gog version and play it in french (or any other official localized version) after a couple of minutes. Here's how:

1/ install the 1.21 patch. There are several versions of this patch, and of course, you should use the one related to the language in which you want to play the game.

2/ find the cfg.ini file, open it and locate this part:

[LANGUAGE]
string="english"

Replace "english" with "francais" (or any other relevant language), and voilà!

Sadly the GOG version of Arx Fatalis is already patched to 1.21, so you can not install the new speech.pak on top : (

EDIT: nm ... I had the wrong directory selected :) It works.
