I installed the game around 30 minutes agoand launched it for the first time.The game starts up fine and goes through the video,but the ratman thing jumps into the magic portal thing and the video cuts quickly to the "menu" which is empty except for the gauntlet which can click some areas to the right of screen and open up a character creation screen and below that an empty box opens on the left side.Also,opened up a blue screen which was empty.Seems the words and numbers are missing for some reason.
My system:
Vista Home Premium 64-bit SP2
E8400 @ 3.00Ghz
4GB RAM
ATI radeon 3850 512MB RAM
EDIT:Nevermind.I just reset ati catalyst 9.7 settings to factory default and it works now.

Fonts disappear when you try to force antialiasing. You can use all other settings (the game looks great with 16x antistrophic filtering!), just not that one.
