Don't know if modders will ever read this, or care, but I just finished the game and wanted to offer some ideas I had. I don't know how hard these would be to implement, but here they are:
1) Some macros
Either make some slots for players to input their own commands or at least add some of the most common functions:
a) a Loot All command, so we don't have to spend a minute on each looting, trying to click the teeny tiny triangle at the bottom of the enemy's inventory.
b) Pick Axe, to make mining easier.
c) Mortar and Pestle, to make grinding easier.
2) more entropy
The hunger system is completely pointless with the ten million pounds of food in the game. The damage to gear is also nearly pointless, given how hard it is to wear down gear. I think I wore the first leather top I found for most of the game without any need to repair or replace.
I suggest speeding up the hunger rate by 10x or even 100x. Cooking might actually be used! I also recommend increasing gear damage by 100x, so people would have to repair their gear multiple times until they're worn to stubs and keep picking up new items since their old ones disintegrated. I think you should go through multiple shields and armor pieces over the course of the game, not barely damage one for the whole game.
3) buff gear buffs.
a) bone dust would give 1 str, 2 if casting >50, 4 if casting >100
b) garlic would follow the same as bone dust, but for dex
c) dragon dust would add str and dex.
d) bone dust on chest armor would add con instead of str
e) The stealth leather is found too late, gives too little stealth, and is the same protection as regular leather. Maybe have the chest/ legs/ head items add 20/ 10/ 5 to stealth respectively, and all give double AC of regular leather.
4) rebalance item costs
With the power runes give, I think their price should be much more, maybe 5k per rune instead of 1k. Scrolls in turn should be much cheaper... no way they should cost the same as a rune. Maybe only 25-50 per scroll.
5) start with an extra pack
Some might say that there's great pleasure in getting your second inventory row. Myself I found being limited to one row in the beginning needlessly irritating. WAY too much running back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth because of limited space.
6) misc
Give us a note in the beginning explaining how to activate godmode with the console. The deathbeast on level 8 REALLY pissed me off. I spent an hour online trying to find a way to activate invulnerability, because I was so tired of dying over and over trying to figure out what the devs wanted me to do. I HATE when devs give you situations where you have to die dozens of times to get past something. Not only does it completely sour the mood, it ruins those of us who try to play games with no reloading/dying.
Further, the English version uses the word "reservation" to refer to vaults. It took me a while to figure out what "reservation" meant. Of course you can't just change the text ingame, as I believe someone has a voice line about a reservation. So maybe just mention that in our starting note.
Just my suggestions. Thanks to all modders for the great work you do!!!
