I remember that one game giving me hell of a problem. Betrayal in Antara (not GoG.com version, standard CD). It's keep genereting problem about various dll's. I explored the problem, look about it on internet. After that I used CPUGrabber (computer slowdowner) about 3/4 (my proccessor [still] is Athlon XP 2000+) and problems dissapeared! Implication - my computer (processor, more accurately) was TOO FAST! Game run better, stopped giving any problem and was still playable due to low system requirements. Maybe this is solution? Remember only that is tested on SINGLE processor, thus CPUGrabber allowing only SINGLE processor slowdown. Look for DUAL or QUAD or whatever many procesors you got slowdown program and test it! I bought GoG.com Arx Fatalis version, but it doesn't giving too much problems. Good luck!
