In the Goblin prison, after you escape your cell and kill the first goblin, the next room has a table. To the left of the table is a bear skin on the wall. Under this is an opening to hold a missing lever.

I've returned with a piece of wood, used it as a lever and the sound indicates something has opened. I cannot find where this is. I've checked this level of the Goblin prison and the room below where you attack your first goblin lord.

Does anyone know what this lever opens/does and where it is situated?

Don't waste your wooden pieces on THAT lever. It doesn't work. Probably some unfinished secret room that ultimately, never made it inside the game... No version of Arx Fatalis (from the original vanilla, which once i had, to the collector's edition which i bought for a friend as gift back in the day, to modern GOG release), ever had that lever actually do something. You use it, it creaks and that's it, no "poof", no "sesame open", nothing at all...

I also downloaded the Russian collector edition before, which contained the detailed game guide, with maps and complete list of hidden areas, even secret spells and cheats, but it didn't even MENTION this one lever...
