I have an old ThinkPad (from 2004) running WinXP and I'm trying to install the game onto it, but it keeps giving me an error message "arx.exe is not a valid Win32 Application". As far as I can tell, XP was the newest version of Windows when the game was released, and I have DirectX 9.0 installed, so what am I doing wrong?

UPDATE: I reverted back to the earliest version and it works now.
