I have Windows 7 64-bit and when I launch the game I just get a program has stopped working error. I tried in compatibility mode and it didn't work. I re-installed and still nothing. Any solutions?

The first thing I'd try is installing the latest DirectX End-User Runtimes to make sure you have all the extra compatibility files and other updates.

If that doesn't resolve the problem the next step would be to try updating your video card drivers (, [url=http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/auto_detect.aspx]AMD/ATI, Intel).

I installed the runtimes and my graphics drivers were already up to date and I get the same error. I don't know if this helps but the file that caused the crash was ntdll.dll.
Anyone?! I guess I bought this game for nothing :-(
I hope someone helps you. It's an awesome game. I'm having an issue myself. The game says it installs successfully, but it seems to be missing most of the games files in the installed directory. I go to launch the game and - nothing happens. This is weird because it worked, I tried a patch to fix a fatal memory error I kept having, and now it doesn't work at all. Even uninstalled and reinstalled. Sucks.

Did you run the installer as administrator and the game itself as well?
Checked if User Account Control / Data Execution Prevention or AV software is not interfering with the program?
Probably a sound issue, I have the same problem and found the dame would launch if I disabled my sound card. The transition to vista/windows 7 included changes in how sound works in windows...support for direct sound dropped in favor of open AL. My X-FI card in windows vista 64 does not seem to like Arx.. Have not found a work-around yet.
Try the fix I explain under the sticky at the top of this forum. Hope it works!
