Hey I just recently downloaded Arx and It starts up and runs fine but the font for the menus and everything else doesn't render on the screen, so this makes it fairly unplayable as I can't see what level my skills are at and even what options I'm trying to access. I also downloaded the patch from Arkane themselves but that didn't fix anything anyone else run into this issue

My system is win 7 64-bit ultimate
4gb ram
Nvidia 9500GT
E5300 dual core 2.6ghz

I had a similar issue. Although my options menu was fine, just my character screen for attributes and skills were not listing the numbers properly.

I didn't have this problem with disappearing stats until I started fiddling with Nvidia control panel settings. I have a 9800GT and if I choose to override the application settings for Anti-Aliasing, it would cause the stats in the character screen to disappear. Everything else was fine.

I simply choose "enhance the application setting" instead. now it displays stats fine.

I tried a few tests with Anti-alias unchecked in the game options menu but It still will cause the stats text to disappear if you set it to override.

Hope this helps, worth a shot to check your settings.
