Then I try to start Arx this litte window pops up and have this text:

"Please wait while Windows Configures Ryzom"

And it trying to find "Ryzom.msi" ??

Ryzom in a OLD MMORPG that I played looong time back like 4-5 years I guess, I deleted all things about that game, and I cant find any rest of it. Why do Arx try to startt that ?
Are they alike or what ?

And then I get :
Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product Ryzom. The Windows Installer cannot continue.

I did play this game then it was new, but got stuck in a room whid fire or lava :(

I'm afraid there's nothing to be done to help you, sounds like a bad config that's very specific to your PC... Seems Ryzom was associated to some filetype it shouldn't have been, and/or not fully uninstalled.

It sounds like Ryzom has interfered with something. Installing the latest version of Ryzom and then uninstalling it might fix this.

If that doesn't work a workaround would be to go to the folder where Arx Fatalis is installed and try running the ARX exe directly. You can jump there easily by right clicking on the desktop or Start Menu shortcut, clicking Properties, and then clicking the Open File Location button on the window that appears. Running the ARX exe directly should work even though the shortcut doesn't. Depending on how Ryzom has broken things you might be able to create a new shortcut from the ARX exe and have that one work.

[Thank for trying to help me, I fought that installing Ryzim again and uninstall it world work. But no.
And I tried ARX.exe from the first time, but it still trying to noit start Ryzom but it try to intall it, and cant fint the install files.
I even tried to cheat the "Rysom Installer" to run ARX.exe as the installer, but did not work.

I gonna install a new clean HD, and put it there, but I guess its my Windows that are wrong.

( I even tried to get a copy of Arx but that did not work ither ) :(
Ok, I just installed it on mt second PC, and it working fine.
Just One problem, it goes way to fast, how do I slow it down ?

Do you happen to have an AMD CPU on that system? Try the AMD Dual Core Optimizer.
For your original issue, it may be worth getting a program like CCleaner to fix any potential registry issues.

I use it all the time when I've uninstalled things, because uninstall programs often leave things behind.
