The first mission for Toys in Space does not load. I go to campaign, put in the name, the load screen appears and the voice over plays but the progress bar does not fill and after about two seconds the game crashes.

Battle mode is the same.

Can't confirm. Game runs and starts perfectly fine over here. I am starting it via Galaxy and I'm on WIN 10. Maybe some Direct X problem? I have recently installed the runtimes up to 2009 and have noticed far less trouble with older games since. Just an idea, because the game is missing out on any error message. I'm gussing, but maybe the menus are 2D and the game itself is 3D accelerated and there the crash occurs. Since the game has very short loading times (about 2 seconds here as well) it might fit.

I tried it again this morning.

I tried the boot camp and it worked just fine, for whatever reason it has not a single issue before or after this problem occurred. So, I thought that I may as well reinstall is for whatever reason. I tried the campaign again and it still did not work.

The system I tried it on was a new (last six months) Acer Veriton M2630G with Windows 7 Pro. I have another computer I'll try it on and if it persists I'll re download and see what happens.

Thanks for your reply.

This is an annoying development.

On the computer where I downloaded it (the one I play the game on is not connected to the internet) the game works just fine with the theoretically same download file. Not a single problem, played the campaign peachy.

At least I can play the game, albeit not in my preferred place. If I can figure it out I'll post bout it.
