Cypers: Hey guys, my friend has the same issue and his PC is running AMD CPU + GPU configuration.
I heard that the issue with low fps when barrels are exploding might not occur on computers running Intel + Nvidia configs.
Could you share your CPU + GPU configurations?
AMD 1090t
AMD 6350
Windows 10 x64
Im getting low FPS but only when Im in a level. The intro and main menu run fine. Ive tried different colour modes, running as admin, running it with only one core, disabling my anti virus, but still get the same results.

My specs
OS - Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU - 1.65 GHz Dual core AMD E-450 APU with Radeon Graphics
RAM - 6GB

Any one got any suggestions?

EDIT: After trying again Ive been able to narrow down the problem a bit more. It seems the game runs perfectly fine until either theres an explosion, or the screen has to scroll. When Im standing still and try firing my rifle, the game runs normally.

EDIT AGAIN: I have managed to get it to work! Theres a YouTube video that shows a patch that will partially get the game running normally. Unfortunately I can't post links in forums at the moment, but if you search in Google "Army Men PC Patch" There should be a YouTube video called "How To Play Army Men on Windows 8 / 8.1 / 7 (64 Bit Only)" .Once you've followed the tutorial, replace all the DLLs and the EXE in the patched version with the ones from the GOG install, and it runs perfectly fine.

Thanks for posting that. Can this be done with the GOG version without some of the steps mentioned in the tutorial; the registry edits or virtual CD mounting malarkey?
