I love the concept of anthropomorphic animals in a fantasy setting. (Though despite what people say, it's nothing like Redwall, more like Spellsinger if anything, as Redwall doesn't have magic, nor a classic medieval setting)

Love the gorgeous artwork cutscene and card-wise.

And the gameplay itself is fun and unique.

But after only a few playthroughs I found it to become really repetitive. Is this a game that is designed to be played online, rather than single-player? (regardless, I can't seem to change the AI difficulty)

This game can play online on STEAM, but GOG can't. I asked the developer of Armello about this situation. He replied me they are not intend to update Armello on GOG. I'm not sure why they decide it, but I'm very disappoint.
OMG, really they don't want to update the GOG version ?

Meh, I was loving this game but all of a suddent i feel like i wanna puke, what kind of developers are those ? We payd OUR MONEY to them and they give us a middlefinger ? Lemme guess, they don't want to update the GOG version because they sold theyr souls to GabeN ? How much did he payd them for the "pseudo-exclusive" ? Or are they those kind of devs that don't like DRM-free because spooked by piracy (that with this kind of behaviour are going to encourage) ? Whatever the case, this is unacceptable ! if I pay for a product i expect it to fully work at 100%, not 90% or 80%, 100% (without considering i can't even change the language for some reason... when it's possible on Steam, go figure) !
There are already enough garbage developers like Ubisoft and Activision doing this kind of BS.

Thinking that being a furry artist i was also considering to make a fanart about this game, after reading the devs don't want to update it on GOG "because reasons", i'm not going to anymore, as I'm not going to purchase anymore games from them and tell this to anyone i know looking forward for this game: "Don't buy this game, the developers are a bunch of jerks that don't want to update it".

Wow, i must been really mad when i wrote the previous post, i don't think to have any excuses for that and i need to apologize for the childish behaviour.

Yet, that burst of madness i had also shows that i love and care about this game, as it kills my soul and breaks my heart to know my version of it won't be updated (even more thinking it was a gift from a dear friend of mine too).

I don't understand why the devs decided this if it's really the case, but after some chats i had with some friends about this game and the people behind it, i have reasons to belive what BradyChen says is the truth.

It's really a shame under many aspects.
I hope the devs will change theyr mind and update it on gog too at somepoint, it's not good to have people pay money for a game and then don't update it anymore.

Hey BradyChen,

I'm interested to know who you spoke with here at League of Geeks as we have never publicly said that we aren't planning on updating the DRM free versions of Armello.

On the contrary, we announced a few weeks ago that v1.1 will be coming to DRM free and PS4 mid-November!

I'll be more than happy to follow up with whomever said this to you and make sure they know the correct info for next time :)
