Dear gawd the issues are insurmountable.

Adjust view distance to max --> game locks up and you have to delete the config files to even launch it again lol
Mouse feels like booty --> download ArmA Resistance mod --> still feels like booty
Load save --> game crashes --> save disappears
Turn around --> game hangs for several seconds at a time apparently loading in the blurry environment

I mean it's not literally the worst but HEY I'M SUPPOSED TO BE HAVING FUN HERE I wish I had spent the time wasted trying to play it before it deleted my saves reading a book or doing calculus or quantum mechanics or something

Game is poorly coded and BI never cared to fix it so you'll just have to deal with it.

Play with viewdistance around 1000 and low terrain details. Use mouse with low DPI.
