I think if you approach that game without even comparing it to original OFP or Arma you can actually enjoy it. But....that being said ive only ever played for and hour or two before uninstalling it.
You just cant help thinking...'how do i switch to third person..shit i cant'....or....why cant i fly a helicopter...or...why cant i pan the camera around the car im driving...or...why is the whole island covered in that shitty grass that makes it f**kn hard to see anyone through.

After a few hours you just end up saying 'hell why dont i just play Arma instead'.
After my first few sessions playing Arma 3 I can see the potential through all the bugs and the new update that makes it crash.....seriously i can...I just don;t like that it's hard wired into steam now. It's almost a deal breaker.
