Hi there,

I'm experiencing the "Out Of Memory" issue, and the help file says to install the Enhanced Configuration Project mod to fix the issue. The only problem is that when I try to install it, the installer says it can't find the OFP directory, and won't let me click OK even when I select the ARMA Cold War Assault folder in the GOG directory.

Can anyone help me? I want to fix this memory leak issue so I can actually play any mission at all.

Make a duplicate of ColdWarAssault.exe and rename it FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.exe.

the story: Bohemia Interactive recently regained the rights to the original Operation Flashpoint program, but not the trademark, and thus had to rename the old game. The ECP installer, for some inane reason, looks for the game exe, and the ECP team hasn't updated it to look for the new exe. Fortunately, ECP installs and plays just fine once you give the installer what it wants.

I think you can trash it, since I always ran coldwarassault.exe and never had any problems from ECP, but I didn't delete the renamed exe, and so don't know for sure. You'll probably need the renamed exe if you ever use ECP's uninstaller, though.
