Here's the rub, I'm using a laptop that has a NVIDIA GeForce GPU along with an AMD Radeon integrated GPU.
Unfortunately, whenever I start up the game, it always uses the AMD GPU which heats up my CPU really fast.

I tried setting it to use the NVIDIA one in the Graphics setting, but no such luck.
I read that I can fix it by using this software called dgVoodoo2.

I downloaded and unzipped the files to my games root directory but thats it so far.

Has anyone has encountered a similar problem?
How can I fix it?

Thanks.

No, you shouldn't use 3rd party solutions or game settings for this. Configure both video drivers (prefer GPU and power scheme for Nvidia - max performance) and Windows (power scheme at maximum performance).

For Intel+Nvidia it enough to set Keep Aspect ratio for Intel to apply on both, and set Nvidia GPU as main in Nvidia Control panel to apply that on both GPU.
