Before I start just thought I'd say this is my first post, so please feel free to let me know if I'm posting this in the wrong place, or make any other mistakes.

I recently purchased a copy of Arma 2: Combined Operations from GOG.com and I just cannot get it to work.

I have tried multiple work arounds and nothing seems to work. I either get an error downloading the actual installation files, trying to play Operation Arrowhead, trying to join a multiplayer match or trying to run the DayZ mod.

PC Specs;

i5 2500-k
8GB Ram
GTX 560
Windows 8

So, were you finally able to download the game?

Yeah I managed to download it, but it more often than not installs ok, but once it comes to playing Multiplayer, or any mods I get one of several errors, ranging from "Bad CD Key" (I've already entered my CD key) or I get "Banned" from servers, no idea why.

Okay, to be clear, you are adding your CD key by running arma2serial.exe, correct?

If you have, I would contact GOG support.

I can think of two things, either your CD key is not getting added properly, or 2, Your CD Key may have been used by someone else at some point in the past (created by CD Key generator)
