Hi All,

Well, I am now using my girl's HP Pavilion dv3 for ARMA 1 and ARMA 2 and trying to get them to work. The demos for both can play, but the framerate is super slow and floats around when I move. I guess that means graphics card? The laptop runs an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics and has a 2 ghz dual core processor, so Im guessing its the card?
Yeah thats exactly what it means..your video card ram or your processor speed isnt quite enough..best advice..run the game 'Ugly'...in other words...every graphics setting set to minumum...if the problem persists theres nothing your can do but use another computer.

Even if your system specs say they meet the minimum, laptops and notebooks are a horse of a different colour....all bets are off with laptops.

Your comp will run Arma cold war assault..it should probably also run Arma Gold....good luck with Arma 2...but your chances arent good there....good luck with that one anyway and may the force be with you.
Probably,demo treat few objects.
ARMA is simulator, processing speed is directly reflected by how many objects there are.
Therefore,ARMA:CWA or OFP is only option for IntelHD Graphics.
Even them, many situations are heavy burden for it.
