This weekend I decided to take ARMA I for a spin... I was disappointed to realize that for some reason the copy protection kicks in, degrading the accuracy of some weapons, in this case the M9 sniper rifle. I can't hit the side of a barn with the weapon, meanwhile enemies can snipe me from great distances using their AK-74s.
Any way I can confirm that FADE has indeed kicked in, beside seeing my weapons scatter lead all over the place? How can I fix this issue? (I did not modify my installation of the game in any shape or form).
