Hey, I've looked around the internet for different ways to play DayZ, but I still get stuck at DayZ commander.

I'm currently facing several issues, dayzmod.com (official website) has been down for atleast a few days so I had to download the mod as a torrent which wasn't the latest version so there is that.

Then, since the guide posted on GOG.com didn't work, I had to check it elsewhere, but in the end I still had to install DayZ manually to folders since the DayZ Commander didn't want to work (probably linked to dayzmod.com being offline) so even though I think I did everything correctly, there may be a mistake.

And now, when I'm in DayZ commander I can't do anything, if I try to install/update anything it just says ''download invalid'' and a red triangle appears and when I try to enter any server I just get an error everytime which says "Cannot open file 'C:\GOG Games\ARMA II-Combined Operations\\dta\bin.pbo' ". When I try to play Arma 2 MP everything works correctly, I've been able to enter all servers so far.

So I am turning to you now, GOG.com community. Any suggestions or ideas at all would be welcome. I've been watching several people play it on Youtube, but I would really like to play it myself too.

EDIT: Wow very wierd, all of a sudden my DayZ commander started working when I tried today, it installed/updated perfectly. And regarding to the ''cannot open file ...'', I found out I had more than two different Arma 2 folders.
So if anyone has trouble with DayZ, it seems that the commander is up and working, you can download dayz mod, patch arma 2 to latest version and voila. As for ''cannot open file...'' check this topic: gog.com/forum/arma_series/cannot_open_file_cgamesarma_ii_combined_operationsdtabinpbo
