So, the game crashed on me after 2 hours of not manually saving. Is there a way to reclaim the autosafe? I mean the game always keeps track of your progress, hence why each mission has a "start at last save" option, which is just before the mission started. So is there a way to make that temp save into one I can load again. Would really suck to have to replay the last 2 hours again tbh

Ontopic, unless you saved your game I'm afraid there is little that can be done.
Maybe look up cheats that can put you anywhere in the game.

have a look in the directory DAT\SAVE. There should be autosave files SAVE98/99.DES. Not sure what the difference is, I think one is the state before the last fight. You can rename them to eg SAVE1.DES and load them.
