Strijkbout: Play the software version.
haydenaurion: Uh, how do you do that? I know how to edit the DOSBox config to run different exes, but there are several that read AD.EXE, AD2.EXE, AD3DFX.EXE (i'm assuming this is the 3Dfx version that's default), ADD4G.EXE and ADD4G2.EXE. I have no idea which one to run or which one is the best to run.
I don't have the game on GOG but I thought they would at least have provided configurations and shortcuts for it.
They did this for Carmageddon so why not for Archimedean Dynasty?
Anyway, I think AD2.EXE was the patched software version and AD.EXE the unpatched one, I don't recognize ADD4G2.EXE and AD3DFX.EXE is the 3dfx version.
So if there are no alternative configurations besides the 3dfx version you need to use notepad and edit one of the .conf files, usually the one with the word "single" in it, and change AD3DFX.EXE to AD2.EXE.
I find this a pretty poor release from GOG then, fluid 3dfx emulation in Dosbox requires a very fast CPU.
