this and remember that you can easily switch from turn based to real time by pressing space bar any time!
this way I made the easy/repetitive fights faster (in real time) while the difficult ones easier to micromanage (in turn based).

This game can be frustrating at times (DON'T give up when reaching the Black Mountain mines.. that place is easily the WORST in all of Arcanum) but the story is good and gets better the more you progress, the world is immersive, finishing it rewarding. And to top it off incredibly replayable since the best part is seeing how the world reacts to who you are, something that is not immediate to perceive because everything just feels so fluid and 'right' the first time.

You can have an amazingly different experience depending on whether you play an elf or a dwarf or a half-orc, and depending on whether you choose magick or technology or neither.
