Hello everyone!

Please, no spoilers! Now that that's out of the way, here's my problem.

I have played the game for a few hours now, just starting, and have gotten to Shrouded Hills. Some folks there have topics of conversation about P Schuyler and Sons, but I can't for the life of me remember what or why or who that is and why I need the information. I just traded Ristezze a camera for information of where P Schuyler and Sons is located, but I have no idea why I did it, other than it just being typical of me to explore all dialog options in RPGs.

So, am I missing something? Did I pick up some item that I can't recall that was related to this? I scoured the crash site for everything I could find and just don't remember this name coming up. So, where is it from?

Thanks in advance!
Spoiler-free answer: Look in your logbook. It will remind you of all the notes your PC has taken along the way, as well as reveal any open (and closed, and broken) quests.
I looked in the logbook and couldn't find anything. Did I maybe miss something at the crash site?

Did you pay attention to the game's opening cutscene? And/or did you search the body of the corpse lying at your feet at the crash site? (And on a side note, did you randomly search the bodies of the rest of the dead, as grisly as that may sound? Doing so is both profitable, and can open up several side quests throughout the game.)

The first logbook entry is (or should be) that the dying gnome entrusted you with a ring. Whether or not you physically have it, your quest at this point is to track down its previous owner.

The Shrouded Hills junk dealer will have pointed you on the right path, which is the name of the ring's maker. When you eventually reach Tarant, you can pursue that further; in fact you'll have to, since it's part of the game's main quest.

Okay, so the ring was made by them. I did pay attention to the cutscene and searched very thoroughly but I just couldn't remember where the heck that name came from.

Anyway, thanks for the help. I guess I have to pay closer attention!
That's why this game is so cool...it is so open-ended, that the main story is just a side-quest :P
