I downloaded Arcanum for my mac, with gog, but all that appears is an arcanum.app on my desktop, I cannot find the saved games for backing up. Also, while I ask the same question, how would I remove the level cap on the mac version since it seems to be just one big file.

Right-click - Show Package Contents on the .app. They may instead be somewhere under ~/Application Support.
