Im having problem's looting this due to the sheltered child trait, I recently found plat armor in the sewers but i can't even put it in my inventory and then pass it off to someone else, is there anyways to make your follower's loot chest's or some workaround?

If the items are in something that can be destroyed (chest, barrel, etc.) do damage to it by force attacking it. When it breaks everything should be on the ground. After that just hope the AI has sticky fingers.

Oh, and I recommend against the use of explosives in said endeavor.

If you are hitting a chest in order to break it open, you will damage your weapon (or take damage if you are using fists) but you can minimize this by using an axe or similar weapon. Also, you will want to tell your followers not to attack or they will happily beat on it with you and break their own weapons.

High level magic weapons (arcane) also do not break/get damaged (or maybe they do it is just much more rare) if you have any of those/for when you get some.

What does the sheltered child trait do actually? Prevent you from carrying thing? Because that seems rather debilitating.

It give you a huge strength penalty but ups your other stat's, ran into another issue for a quest, the elven burial stone is way to heavy to pick up and i can't seem to get a party member to grab it either, and some guys i kill have heavy armor equiped i can't loot.

You COULD use an Editor to temporarely boost your strenght stat (just google arcanum savegame editor), just to complete the quest (and yes, that quest sucks) but beware, once you picked the stone up, DON'T DROP IT AND LEAVE, as it will vanish then (as all dropped stuff).

Otherwise I'm not sure what to do ...

I believe there's a mod that allows you to take direct control of other party characters. Not sure where it is exactly, but I know it's on Terra Arcanum somewhere. If you're interested, you could try digging it up.
