I just got this game today, and it installed fine, but when I run the program it takes around five minutes until the game actually opens. None of my other gog games take so long to open so I am wondering if this is normal for arcanum, in particular, or not.

It's definitely not normal.

Where is the hangup? Is it during the "Loading" screen? How old is your computer, and what is its OS? Do you have the UAP (unofficial patch) installed? And does the game appear to run fine once it does load?

I ended up uninstalling, reinstalling, and then it seemed to fix itself after opening it a few times. Weird.
