I am new to RPGs and just started this game. I am walking around town, but don't seem to be getting anywhere or figuring out what to do next. (I did go to the hotel where Joquim was supposed to be and read the note) Should I just wander and eventually will come upon quests or am I missing something?

Talk to NPC's to find out what's happening around town and to find work.
