As you all know, the loot in Magic Chests is randomly generated. The random results are seeded by the main characters Name, Gender, Race and Background. I'm not sure why I have this obsessions but I've been trying various names, races and background combinations to see what kind of interesting starting loot can be had in the first Magic Chest at the crash site.

I think the best one I've found is a Female Half-Elf, Only Child named Ein (capitalization matters) because she'll start with a magic staff in the chest, and that 40 extra fatigue from the staff will go a long way in Harming monsters.

I can post some more results if folks are interested. Does anyone feel like sharing their characters and what interesting loot they've started with?

Aren't there some special combinations that were specifically coded by the developers to have certain loot? I recall these were like easter eggs, as they were usually themed around references to films or books.

Or maybe I'm thinking of starting equipment, rather than the contents of the first magic chest?
