Magnus (dwarf) wears the small version of Machined Platemail that I've on myself, there's also a dog (excellent Melee fighter), mechanized (medical) arachnid, mage in the chainmail and technologist in lightweight electro-vest that uses batteries for healing purposes.

Machined Platemail&other stuff

Yeah, the Machine Platemail is basically an homage to Fallout's power armor. Though it doesn't grant a strength bonus like power armor does in Fallout.

It does grant a +3 STR bonus if you're a tech proficient character.

Basic Machined Plate that can be aquired in Ashbury does not provide an STR bonus, and it's often confused with it's more advanced version that actually provides a bonus in a fully patched game :)

Ah, interesting to hear! I haven't played (at all or as) a tech character that used machined plate in a long while!
