would you suggest that i get sebastion instead of that fucking city dwarf? they're both level 30. also, if i take sebastion how should i proceed with him? guns or melee? i mean, he prefers melee weapons despite having a better firearms skill (wtf?!) furthermore, when i equip him with guns, he cannot use his shield. is his shield that awesome?

It depends on what you want out of a companion. It seems you don't like Magnus that much, so you maybe should switch to Sebastion to see what he is like.

Yeah, basically don't give him melee weapons that do lots of damage because the AI is rather dumb sometimes. He has a disruptor shield or whatever, right? Or am I totally remembering wrong. The thing that deflects bullets. I mean, it is pretty good as long as you keep it powered up with batteries. But you can give him a similar effect with the Chapeau of Magnetic Inversion (or whatever it is actually called). Or you can give him a pistol and he can still use the shield (and you can find some quite good pistols too).
