I've bought this game, the gog version, and installed the unofficial patch. It seems to work very well, and so I thought I'd create another character just to play around with and go through the game to just have fun and not take too seriously. I used to play the heck out of Arcanum back when it came out.

However, the cheat program released by Drog doesn't seem to work. Even if it's in the same directory, pressing alt+number in-game just results in an error sound, and none of the keys work for what they're supposed to for the cheats.

Any ideas? I'm on Win7 64-bit but the game runs perfectly otherwise.

Hmmm... that is odd. I wonder if his cheat program is older than the latest UOP and so doesn't work correctly with it?

I believe I've gotten the "Virgil Cheat Dialogue" (under Arcanum > Arcanum Hacks in this link: http://terra-arcanum.com/downloads/ ) to work with a fully patched version of the game.

It means you have to cart Virgil around with you, but it allows you to do all the sort of normal cheaty things: add money, add fate points, add character points, etc.
