That's what finally sold me on getting it...the fact that it was made by Fallout's developers. Even at $3, I was still on the fence because I'm so picky about my games, but I absolutely love Fallout.

Speaking of which, I still have to finish Fallout 2 before I can start Arcanum...I dunno about anyone else, but I only play one game at a time.

...I've heard of people that do that! It must be nice XD. *game ADD sets in and he loads up 3 games at once*

I finally bought this on the weekend and I'm happy I did! For $3, this is a steal. I was enamored with the game's style from the beginning. I bought Baldur's Gate last week and, after playing both, I'm pretty sure I prefer Arcanum!

Myxia: I've heard if you pick a female it changes, which is neat, but you get so boxed-in by anachronisms that it becomes really difficult to advance.
There are some minor changes to quest lines, that's all. By no means does choice of gender hamper your ability to advance.

I bought the game and played through a lot of it, and yeah, there's some minor variations, but not nearly as bad as some people were saying it was. If anyone messes with me... well, it's just a video game, I don't think their family will mourn their loss :)
